Katerina Stella is the founder and visionary leader behind VirtuMedex—a company redefining virtual care for high-risk patients through proactive, connected, and compassionate telehealth services. With over 15 years of executive experience in healthcare operations and business development, Katerina has built a reputation for launching and scaling innovative care models that close critical gaps between hospital discharge, chronic disease management, and physician oversight.
At VirtuMedex, Katerina leads company-wide operations, strategic growth, provider recruitment, and intake coordination. Her hands-on leadership ensures a seamless patient experience while supporting partners—including health systems, ACOs, home care agencies, and payers—with high-quality, data-driven solutions that improve outcomes and reduce costs. Her expertise spans managed care, Medicare/Medicaid programs, value-based care models, and multi-state service delivery.
Katerina’s results-driven leadership has led to the successful launch of 14 new markets and a dramatic increase in daily referral volume from 5 to over 235. She holds dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University (U.S.) and Lviv Academy of Commerce (Europe), where she graduated with honors and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Among her many academic accolades is the Presidential Scholarship of Ukraine, awarded for outstanding academic achievement.
